Why must we wait so long to see the darkness rise again?
I'm already saving up to get shadows.
I feel like they're gonna have some sort of mindfuck break ride!

Anything inherently wrong with 12 Critical Shadows?

Yes. It's one more clan with annoying sack triggers that make the game homogenous.

I agree, once we get the capability for 16 then there will be some diversity, but until then going 12 crit is like selling out, since it's the highest allotted number. (Sad part is that I'm sure a lot of ppl will try cutting heals for more crits if this happened >.>)

TD-11 is supposedly part of a clan called "Link Joker", which will appear later in S3 of the anime.
You can see gold sticking out from where the clan would be on the sample card, but that's (hopefully) not confirmation either way that it's (yet another) United Sanctuary clan. To say nothing that it's another clan to begin with.

These Link Jokers have nice aesthetics though. It looks like a United Sanctuary clan however... But it looks like it could fit into Dark Zone too.

Okay, I'm hoping the name is a victim of bad translations, because that is just plain stupid. These things better be DAMN important to the plot to have the season named after them.

"Link Joker?" What the hell does that even mean? I mean, I could accept that as a title because I'm used to Word Salad titles in anime (Neon Genesis Evangelion, anyone?) but to have something named after it in show? Hoy, any ideas what it even means, because I can't figure it for the life of me.

Actually with a deck named Star-Vader Invasion. They are probably part of the Star Gate nation, lol.

TD-10 picture says Purgatory Revenger, so maybe SP's inevitable archetype will be 'revenger' or 'avenger', something along those lines?

TD-11 picture says Star-Vader Invasion, so I'm going to take wild, unfounded guess that they'll be Aliens from Star Gate, the only nation with only two full clans.

They usually have the gold nation color before official reveal, it could still be Star Gate so...

>Purgatory Revenger
Please let this just be the TD name and not the archetype name. Fucksake Revenger is NOT a word. That would be Avenger.

>Link Joker clan
Wat. That name makes no sense. There better be a good fucking explanation for this. Also
>Star-Vader Invasion
REDUNDANCY WORDFAIL. I know they're going for star-invader-invasion, but Vader means "Father" not invader. So it better literally mean Star Father Invasion. Also this is clearly Star Gate. Bushiroad chooses a random clan color when they blank cards. Usually Dragon Empire or United Sanc.

Oh and I'll try translating. This is the BD deck:
Quote :
"(Revenger of Hell) who defeated the Abyss/Bottomlesspit" Vanguard Trial Deck
Retail price: 1,050 yen (tax included)
Trial Deck 3rd Edition "link Joker"!
It was recorded that "he who defeats The Abyss" (Revenger) will release the Shadow Paladins
In the popular anime "Card Fight! Vanguard Link Joker", Suzugamori Ren used "Blaster Dark", and printed new cards!
This trial deck also has his trump card, the new popular "break ride"!

Trial decks are pre-built 50 cards, 17 units (contents deck is fixed) Suggested retail price: 1,050 yen (including tax)
Enclosed are three shiny rare cards! (One RRR, two R) (one of four is a re-print), Quick-play guide, Playbook, and Play Mat
This item qualifies for Gold Trigger campaing. Each box has a ticket, and if you get a gold ticket, you can pick up goodies!

Shadow Paladin Break Ride is included.

Here's Link Joker:
Quote :
"(Star Vader invasion) Bright Star of the Invasion Troops" Vanguard Trial Deck
Retail price: 1,050 yen (tax included)
Trial Deck 4th Edition "Link Joker"! !

New system will appear that seems to overturn common sense! Cardfight Evolved!

Also the news poster rambled on about how it doesn't look very united sanctuary-y and seemed more Star Gate.

I'm serious, that's what it said. Link Joker will have a new mechanic that defies common sense. As if CFV evolved.

OBVIOUSLY IT HAS TO DO WITH LINKING CARDS

At this point, wouldn't be the most moronic thing Bushiroad has done.

Bigger image

Looks like DIABOROMON - THE CLAN with viruses and stuff. And that looks like Wisel with antlers. Unfortunately the guy on the left has a Blaster Bladelike helmet so please fucking do not be United Sanc. I will actually cry.

I will cry.

Also the Break Ride looks like Badb Catha

Huh, personally I would have figured it as an extension to Gold Paladins again. That being said, from the wording (and note that I am willing to admit that I am more than dead wrong on this, the evidence is very light here) I'll swing that it's Star Gate.

wait, wait, wait--I've got it!

now listen here: what if, while they were sealed away in the abyss, the paladins were copied by something that was already in there. now that they've been able to escape their confinement, what if some crazy replicating virus anti[whatever] clan came out too?

that does not seem outside the realm of ridiculous Japanese ideas to me.
