| Cardfight area(http://cardfight.ru/?page_id=1961) is a free program that does not require registration and allows you to create a deck and battle with people online, all the cards that are in the english release are available for public use and some cards that have yet to be released are also availble
it's been helping me a great deal with cardfight vanguard ,it helped me find the clan that i love(dimension police <zeal>) and also trained me in battling with and against different clans. but the thing is ,the program is still in it's early stages and it's a little buggy and not quite as stream lined I'd like to ask the community if there are any better alternatives, and if any of you also that use this little program could post your screen name ,maybe we've fought before ^_^ screen name:Prince (usually dimension police deck builds)

Cray Online is probably your best bet. How would you say so? even since version 1.30 i have not had a single crash , the only problem i have with it is how "manual" it is, though they've recently made trigger checking and card searching more automated theyre still far off from being completely stream lined It's still a good program though,It's not great but it's not absolute shit

Uhhh, Cray Online has been up to date and active for quite some time. It had something of a revival after CFC got shut down.

| No, they only have up to set 9 so either use CFA or Cray Online if you want to test the new stuff. | |

The BYOND protocol specifically works with Dream Seeker and Dream Daemon in order to connect the client to a Dream Maker Environment. In other words, if you haven't installed BYOND, you CANNOT follow a BYOND link. - bradon wrote:

I wouldn't say Cray Online sucks. J's getting it done better. But sneak preview, there's been talk about an all-new program in the future. If the team can ever stay on task. x.x (Or if I can find someone to be on MY team) - Vulcanpeace wrote:

I would like to mention that this hiatus ended in December. If you're actually interested in online cardfighting, I don't see any excuse why you wouldn't know this. I'm acutely aware of this fact as I'm the one that jumpstarted Cray Online's revival and its subsequent evolutions. Kota's the name, by the way. If you go looking in Cray Online's official website under Unofficial Updates, there's a couple of posts by *ME* where I updated the card database. J_BYYX has since restarted work on the program, with occasional help from myself, and I also took the time to recreate the trial decks for inclusion with new version downloads of Cray Online in order to help newbies. So feel free to tell everyone you know about Vanguard and get them to try Cray Online. It's manual, sure, but it's about as good as Duel Network is for Yu-Gi-Oh!, minus being a download and not having a Guardian Circle.

Cray Online is probably your best bet. Alright,I usually give people the benefit of the doubt when they start criticisms but I've recently tried Cray online and while i have nothing against it and i have no problems with the program, it's not so good that it would make CFA "shit" in comparison. In this forum I've learned that everyone's entitled to their opinion provided it's coupled with logical reasoning, so here's mine: as of 1.31: CFA: automated trigger checks(you can simply click on a unit when you check a trigger and it increase in power) automated booster power(boosting shows a visual increase in boosted unit's power) There are also a bunch of other advantages that CFA has over cray online dont get me wrong Cray online is an amazing program but unless proven otherwise CFA is still #1 in my eyes

| I never said CFA was shit in comparison to Cray (which can do with a lot of work). I said it was shit standing alone.
I have to go look at it again but from what I remember
1) It uses "shuffle_list" which is a generic and as far as I'm aware, unrealistic shuffling algorithm 2) The thing doesn't even open at a comfortable size for whatever reason 3) Chat is atrocious 4) It is written in a pre-defined and awkward simplified gaming language unlike Cray which is written in Python (meaning Cray has a much larger room for improvement where CFA is limited by the limited language).

| Default Python rand (which is what Cray Online uses) is actually Fisher-Yates. The most powerful and random PRNG ever developed.
CFA is made in Game Maker if I'm not mistaken. CO is open source.

| Yeah, and CO's source is, unfortunately, all Greek to me. Otherwise I would've put in the Guardian Circle myself. | |

| If there's one simple thing that would make Cray online better, it would be to shuffle your deck after you place you Starting vanguard or at least be allowed to select your SVG in deck creation so it automatically gets placed face down when the game starts. though i admit im not a programmer and this simple change might actually be a difficult task to do which would also maybe explain why: -Guarding does not put units to the guard circle -cards in the dmg zone are placed in a stack rather than side by side slightly overlapping
I'm starting to warm up to this program though ,not for the shuffling but the battle log serves as a nice anti-cheating device.

I don't see why you're all bothered by this,For me clicking the shuffle button 3 times usually shuffles the deck pretty well
2) The thing doesn't even open at a comfortable size for whatever reason
It has fullscreen now so thats not really an issue, its actually fairly comfortable
3) Chat is atrocious
You're likely referring to the old chat system, its current chat system is similar to Cray online
4) It is written in a pre-defined and awkward simplified gaming language unlike Cray which is written in Python (meaning Cray has a much larger room for improvement where CFA is limited by the limited language).
You got me there,at their max potencial Cray online would be amazing and would make CFA look like shit im not even gonna fight over that because I know it's true,But at their current states CFA is more stream lined with better graphics,i know that at some point Cray online will surpass this but until then CFA gets my vote
