| https://vmundi.forumotion.com/t362-criticals-vs-draws?highlight=criticalsThis link goes to an old thread I made about crits vs draws, so you can get some info about the benefits of crits there. As for stands, some of the benefits are being able to get another chance at on hit effects and to trigger things like Aqua force units which have an attack number requirements and often on hit effects. Stands are also good in tribes that have access to many 11k rg's that can be stood and given power to make them 16k essentially forcing out another 10k shield/extra dmg. Keep in mind this method will have problems against cross rides with their impressive 13k defense. Overall crits are more used since they promote the blocking of the vanguard, which is never something your opponent should want to do. They also punish those trying to sit on 4 dmg for limit break. I hope this helps you out. :) | |

This. If you're going to use Stands, you really need to think about the deck as a whole. Can you use that extra attack to its maximum potential? Are there certain effects that activate when a unit is stood? If you answered "yes" to both of these, then by all means use Stands. Otherwise, an extra Crit tends to be a bit more painful, especially if you get two Crits in the same Drive Check. | |
