My one consolation is that given it's an Ultimate Break, it's not gonna be nearly as bad in practice as it looks on paper. But this is still dumb.

The part of me that hates overpowered/unfair cards is appalled at this.

In practice what this means is less that you get to do that, and more that Japan's meta's current tendency to run all the crits it possibly can in every build of everything is going to make perfect sense. Because you're never gonna wanna push more than four damage once you know an ultimate break is on the way. Never.

It just really doesn't feel like Aqua Force. Might as well forgo using stuff to allow multiple attacks and just stick in beaters since the focus will be this guy.

What if Deck Sweeper turns out to be a Laurel clone for Aqua Force?

So, let me see if I've got this straight. It's like Silent Tom, only broken.

More specifically, it's like Silent Tom except in very Late Game. But still enough to make people collectively crap themselves when they're on 5 damage.

Unfortunately, or fortunately as it were, I'm ninety percent certain that Deck Sweeper is a Flame of Promises, Aermo clone.

Everything adds up- it was advertised as specifically being support for Glory Maelstrom, both Glory and regular Maelstrom are base-11k units (or identical stats to the Overlord duo), and the base power is the same as Flame. Admittedly the only thing which bugs me is the "Secret", but Bushiroad's been underwhelming with those before.

Yup. Deck Sweeper is indeed an Aermo clone.

Meh. They already have a 10k booster that's practically conditionless. With all their Maelstroms, they don't even need it to be 11k.

Aqua Force don't have good enough soul support to keep this being consistent. Promise worked due to Kimnara spam.

Glory doesn't even need anything higher than 7000 late game.

Welp. We now no longer need to speculate.
