Why do they do this with shit with Tachikaze players? I was so disappointed Raptor Colonel was so poorly animated and made it look like it would only work with eight CB available.

I'm actually surprised; they showed less of Izaki than I would have guessed. That's sad. Maybe when set 11 hits he (or some new TK player) will represent.

Even after cutting that whole fight they're skipping turns. And skipping a whole OTHER fight. And Shingo is using Spike Brothers instead of Murakumo for some reason (with Dragger in damage zone no less, so missed chance to show THAT off). Does this kid even have a proper clan or are the writers/animators lazy?

This damn show.

Oh wait, this means Kai DID get Kagero back after season 2 but just decided not to use them.

Also Miwa was fantastic even if it was brief.

Miwa is always fantastic and needs a lot more screen time than he gets. I would totally watch an episode that was just Morikawa and Ishida bickering while Miwa tries to keep them from choking each other.

Is Shingo like an actual card game player who uses more than 1 frigging deck? Bout time a show had one.

I really liked this episode. Not because of the Genesis hype, but because the show went back to a simpler time. This episode made me feel like i was watching the first season 1 tourney.

I'm disappointed in Shingo, I like Spikes a lot, but I like them with THE GREAT KYOU, I wanted Shingo to stay with Murakumo, Ninja's need more 'spect and rep. I change decks at the drop of a hat, I have like 8 now, with variants for 3 of them, but that doesn't mean I want my imaginary card peoples to do that too. How am I meant to associate with them? No, I hate Shingo, smug twerp who lacks enthusiasm, I can accept Kyou with MegaColony because he gets into it. Shingo, get enthusiastic or get lost.

This has to be my biggest issue with Season 3 so far. I can somewhat understand why they cut Kourin in the most recent ep (we've seen her in action recently and more or less know how her deck works), but Miwa? Izaki? It would have been cool to see both of them fighting again. Miwa definitely needs more screentime.
