| http://cf-vanguard.com/en/event/team-league-2013/3-man teams, each team member must use a different clan, mono-clan only with exception of up to 10 Nubatama (I'm assuming; they just have <> due to some copypaste or formatting error). Wondering what kinds of clans/builds will be most prevalent aside from (probably, ugh) DOTE and whatever GPs. | |

| Nubatama? The last time I visited their page, 10 shadow paladins were allowed in a royal paladins deck. o.O First time sb mentions nubatama (which, however, would be awesome. I´d like to play my nuba-murakumo I´m planning to build :)) | |

| I think shadows were used as an example. I think they were saying ten of another clan maybe inserted. Like how shadows would go into a blaster build. I'm sure you could splash 10 nubas into a mura build. | |

| I'm honestly guessing at the Nubatama. 10 splashed cross-clan would make more sense, I guess. I don't know how else to interpret:

| Well it's neat they did a mono clan rule and allowed nubatama, but it's terrible that The End, MLB, and PBO exist because that's going to carry each team. | |

| At the time I posted, the section that read

...had nothing in the brackets. So I was just guessing. Pretend Nubatama doesn't exist. If I could edit I'd take that bit out. | |

A whole clan that works around Nubatama's mechnics would be way too strong. Even CR might have a problem, I mean, you don't guard, you drop a card, you guard and you drop a card. o_o | |

| Probably not talking about a whole set of support additions for Nubatama (that would be ridiculous even if the entire rest of the hypothetical expanded clan had nothing to do with discarding, just for giving Dreadmaster more boost targets). Just... allowing them to be played in this format. Even if that clause about splashing Shadows into Royals applied to Nubatama-into-anything, 10 isn't really enough.
Hybrid decks already run risks with triggers misfires and less/inconsistent perfect guards, seems weird to "punish" them further. Though I suppose with needing all teammates to use different clans it's less hassle from a judging/registration/whatever perspective to just say "no" and be done with it. | |

As long as you commit to the field well, Nubatama isn't that big of a problem. I really do not think they would have been a problem if they kept them weak in strength, strong in effect. Not a DOTE/MLB problem for sure. | |

I tested Nubatama with the following: Rainbow Triggers Vanilla starter Vanilla 8k Vanilla 10k S-Intercept Gojo clone Perfect Guard 12k gainer And it did about average. Adding anything more than vanilla and rainbow would be imbalanced but in the 16k meta, they're fine like that even as a mono clan. Hell, you could complete them and make it a real clan in the retarded 18k meta. | |
