Newbie Gold Paladin Question

Ever since I purchased the Gold Paladin trial deck, I have really enjoyed playing with them and I really like the art theme and Garmore's LB ability combined with when he is supported by Charjgal.

Anyway, I was looking at the general price range to upgrade the deck and it was in the 200s.

I was wondering if I can eventually ave up to add better cards to the deck, would the deck be good enough to be competitive? Is it worth the investment? And if so, is there a recommended build (preferably with Garmore)?

Or are their other clans what can be just as good without such a price tag?

I have been told many times by a friend that even if I am able to build it well, It still wont stand a chance against a good Kagero or GranBlue deck. This is why I ask.

I think the first thing would be reading the GP article here. it has a few builds that'll give you a general idea. there's two there that uses Garmore.

This is actually true though. Even by BT09, Golds will be subpar and even in BT10 their rise back will be temporary once BT11 and 12 hit. Actually they still won't even blip the radar what with the new Spikes and Narukami. If you absolutely love GP, don't let me stop you but BT10 is basically a meta chase. Everything levels up with it.

Would you say that Royal Paladins would be a better choice?

I would stick with your Gold Paladins since you enjoy them. You have two choices right now; build up on your current Gamore deck since that is what you enjoy, or wait for the release of the Liberator subclan for a more competetive version of the Golds.

I'd personally go with the first choice; if you ultimate goal is fun, why not build up on your preferred G3 choice? Garmore works really well with the Bunny Brigade (as you can see from the "Ultimate Toolbox" build)/

Yea I've decided to go with the ultimate toolbox deck then wait for liberators. I've received so much hate for running golds but I enjoy them. So far every time I play garmore I've won.
