| Christ, I just cant stand that Tom Rogers has been at least partially vindicated, by you of all people. It's like Einstein citing L Ron Hubbard. | |

| An asshole who has the need to say that literally every time he's brought up, starts drama everywhere, stays to his stupid little cult on GoF (and even they can barely stand him) and just shits up Pojo, Deckout and any other community with full blown retard peacoking assholeness. Imagine you, but as a total dick. Point is a while ago he made an article in which, in his full blown douche mode, he decried games that were too balanced and that didnt only a few viable builds because he said that with all decks being equal, games would amount to luck and skill wouldn't be the deciding factor. He did it in the most obnoxious way possible, but the point is I'm seeing he's right and it pisses me off to no end. | |

| Individual games do not amount to chance. The probability that a given CLAN wins amounts to chance. He has it fucking backwards.
Not only that, he's double retarded. Removing balance simply makes 2-3 decks playable, once again making it all due to chance (using his fucktarded logic). Except it doesn't. And being balanced (IF it were true) would at least make the number of decks that are viable in this hypothetical omgluck world go up.
And I guess Chess and Go are omgluck games too given that they're so balanced.

>OPINIONS OPINIONS OPINIONS OPINIONSAND THEN I SAW THIS NUGGET: - Quote :
- A game at it’s optimal health has a Tier Zero. This means there is one dominant deck which consistently defeats all others in the field of play. Why is that a good thing? Wouldn’t you want a large spectrum of unique, original decks with creative forms of victory? Isn’t that the “point” of the game?
Well that’s all nice, but you might as well stick that pacifier back in your mouth and ride your unicorn back to Candyland if you honestly believe having that many decks is good for the game. I will find him. And I will kill him.

http://www.pojo.com/duelmasters/Featured-Writers/Tom_Rogers/2010/1-22.shtml That was painful to read. His argument for not wanting a diverse amount of decks is pretty much flawed anyway as simply pointed out by Alice earlier; just turns those 2-3 decks into who gets what first. Bitches about "Win Mongers". Post opinions like one.

At least it's not the person who was calling her "Alice-sama" and treated her like his beloved senpai in a crappy slice of life high school romantic comedy complete with people running to school with toast in their mouths. Er, wait. Maybe it is the same person. I can't remember.

| Right then. So is there really no cure for this but time? Given its a REALLY popular misconception (and cutting away the bullshit like a nerdy Mike Lewis is one of your stated goals) do you think an article on Assertion is in Vmundi's future. (And may I suggest an overhead menu sideboard like on toplessrobot?) | |

| That Narukami deck. Mexico is either full of god tier players who can draw their one good Grade 3 whenever they want, or beyond the limits of being bad. So this guy moves on to the next level right? | |
